i guess something's turning around. i actually continue to leave the office still feeling as if i accomplished something important. i have to admit it's something you can't just buy.

this isn't to say that i don't have problems at work, but that i can see past them now.

i hope this continues.

on a side note, the government is considering the re-establishment of English as the primary medium of instruction. it was on Talkback with Tina Palma last Monday. now, there has always been a debate whether the use of English is actually unnationalistic, but i don't think that's true.

everything has its place and everything in its place. that should do it.

what does this mean?

promoting the national language is one thing, but hampering the opportunities of the students should never occur due to inadequate english competency. in studying the literary arts, i wouldn't say no to using the lingua franca, but since enlish is currently the world language, i think we need to place a larger emphasis on the mastery of enlish.

maybe more on this in the future.
